David Ordoñez, a.k.a., DavioR, is an electronic music producer and composer who has spent the past 5 years creating soundscapes in numerous genres that range from IDM, Psy Chill, Ambient, Trip Hop, Dub, Electro, and many others. His unique vision and style has taken him to collaborate in various projects with other artists around the world ( like Japan based music producer I.Yes.No, Spanish guitarist and music producer Dembora, Dominican Trip Hop band Masrhon, London poet Elizabeth Jane Burnett…), as well as musicalising moving images for adverts and independent short films.

DavioR is a SAE Institute graduate in Audio Engineering and Music Production (2007). During this period he concentrated in mastering the skills of live recording, music editing, track mixing, as well as a perfect understanding of the following equipment: Mixing Boards (Solid State, Mackie, Allen&Heath, Soundcraft, Yamaha…), Signal Processors, Pro Tools, Mackie DXB,  OB12 Synth, Samplers (E-MU Proteus, Electribe ESX-1), etc. DavioR is also proficient in the following music software: Ableton Live, Cubase, Nuendo, Logic Pro, Reason, Pro Tools, Virtual Instruments and FX (VSTi, AU, RTA), Sound Editors (Amadeus Pro, SoundForge, Peak), etc. This knowledge has allowed him a better approach in the alchemy of music making.

His compositions are best described as collages between melody driven tracks and digital soundscapes blended with organic blips and clicks, making the sound feel alive and soulful. This style is most reflected during his live sets and performances, where he puts great effort in transporting the audience to unexplored realms in music, and making everyone dream while being awake.
